Mr. Eilers has engaged in the assessment and restoration of riverine and lacustrine aquatic resources for most of his career.  His area of expertise has focused on integration of physical hydrology, water quality and fisheries.  Joe began his career in the public sector working for regional, state and federal agencies and transitioned over to consulting work for both the public and private sectors in 1988.  He has conducted projects throughout the United States and several other countries, although much of his work has been concentrated in the Pacific Northwest.  He has prepared over 100 professional reports and nearly 50 peer-reviewed publications.  He continues to be extremely active in his field and is currently working on two hydropower projects involving water quality in the affected riverine environments.
